Coriander Ale

More please… twas the day after Christmas and what do you drink with your Trader Joe’s Asian Cabbage Salad? Make it a coriander ale. This home brew was about as perfect as they get. Light, smooth and citrusy.

This is brew #7 from The 12 Brews of Christmas Project which was adapted from a recipe in the Sacred and Herbal Healing Beers book. I highly recommend this book if you want to start exploring the world of herbal beer making.

The beauty of this recipe is that it can also serve as a base for adding other ingredients. I think I will toss in some mugwort next time. Pine needles and Juniper berries also sound like a good match for this concoction. Very pleased… try it yourself.
